Initial Diagnostic Test
A skill-based assessment to identify foundational strengths and areas of improvement across key academic areas.
Mini Mock SAT® Exam

How is the SAT® different from other exams?
The SAT® test adjusts difficulty based on performance, requiring a strategic approach to each module. Many colleges allow students to combine their highest Math and Verbal scores from different test dates, maximizing their overall SAT® score. Unlike AP exams, the SAT® tests broad literacy and quantitative skills, making school coursework highly relevant.
What’s included in the SAT® program?
Comprehensive test prep including practice tests, subject review materials, personalized study plans, strategy sessions, and progress tracking.
How much time per week is required?
Typically 3-5 hours per week, including scheduled sessions and independent practice work.
Is there a free consultation?

How are coaches selected?
Coaches are chosen based on their SAT® expertise, teaching experience, track record of score improvements, and ability to match student learning styles.
How do you track my child's progress?
We begin with diagnostic exams, we monitor their performance all the way through when a child is taking classes with us. We take all of their scores from mocks, mock sections they’ve completed for homework, other homework, and practice sets. And we analyze that data to determine the areas in which they need help.
Can my child get a 1600 in one month?
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to the SAT®. While some students make rapid gains, significant score increases take time, practice, and a personalized strategy.
Beware of companies that guarantee specific score improvements—real SAT® success comes from consistent effort, expert guidance, and targeted preparation. Zinkerz ensures that each student maximizes their potential based on their unique starting point and goals.
What strategies do you teach kids for tackling different sections?
We teach a number of different strategies that are essential for SAT® success. For Math, we practice using Desmos and taking educated guesses. On the verbal side of things, we teach, review, and practice applying a number of grammar rules for conventions of standard English, reading different kinds of passages, whether that be poetry, literature, a scientific or more expository passage. The key to SAT® mastery is guided help in learning how to apply those strategies.
