Each instructor is selected for their experience with AP content and ability to relate to students. Test Prep FAQ
How do you build your personalized learning plans?
At Zinkerz, we start each student with a diagnostic test, and this assesses their strengths and their areas for improvement. From there, our team creates a learning plan, which changes weekly based on the data that we gather.
What types of materials and resources does Zinkerz offer?
Our plans utilize a wide variety of test materials and resources. So we use sectioned mock exams where one part of the exam is taken at a time. We also use full-length practice tests that are offered weekly to any student taking classes. Our materials are designed in a way to cover everything that your student needs.
How do you address test anxiety?
Test anxiety does happen to a lot of students. Our teachers are with the students for the entire length of the plan, they really get to know them and can have real conversations about ways to approach the exam that works best for them.
We also offer separate meetings with our support team so parents and students can discuss more if needed.
What results can we expect?
On average our SAT students see an increase of 350 points and our ACT students can see an average of 5 to 6 points.
What if my child doesn't score high enough on their test?
It’s important to remember that most of these exams are taken multiple times and that test prep, regardless of the test, is a process. Each time the student takes the test, it’s meant to be a learning experience, and we will adapt their plan moving forward as needed.
